We imagined what could happen, taking the chance on fostering an emergency placement..but it still sucks to learn that kiddo may go home to mom as soon as next month...
mom was in court today, and from the way cps tells it, Izzi has some decent family tucked away afterall..poof! Just like that.
We hate CPS.
Easter weekend was Izzis' 3rd Birthday weekend!
We took him on his first road-trip, to meet my folks, and even though the poor little guy was recovering from an upper respiratory infection and pink eye (thanks daycare..) he still managed to charm my mom and step-dad to pieces.
The weather wasn't at all nice, cold cold rain and the threat of ice, so we were forced to cut our trip short..ah but it was so good to get away.
Izzi had a make-up visit with his mom today, and came home crying for his mama and papa (who??!)
cps says mom whispers things in his ear..
Minni and I love Izzi, but we decided we're not cut out to take in any more emergency placements..
I dunno what else to say..it was a rough day.
